Daniel passed certified test for inherited eye diseases (in Europe this test is known as ECVO). In Russia, only some clinics can conduct this testing. We got one of the best ophthalmologists in Russia. Testing conducted by Dr. Constantine A. (in the clinic "Belanta").

 

Result: 

PPM, PHTVL/PHPV, cataract, RD, glaucoma, entropion, corneal dystrophy, PLL, PRA - free 

ectropion - mild on the right eye (after injury)

 

According to test results we can say that the eyes do not have a problem!

 

 

Why have we done it? After all, Danila never had any problems with the eyes.

Dog's health is one of the most important aspects of breeding. Worldwide the researches are constantly conducted, the specialists has developed special tests for detecting the genetic diseases of dogs , which are planned to be used in breeding. Much has been done and is being done in order to get healthy dogs from healthy parents . Testing is voluntary yet, but it is recommended for honest and responsible breeders.
